Characterized by their atmospheric blend of shoegazer pop, the newly comprised Film School has gained much attention since their 2006 self-titled release. Formed in San Francisco in the late nineties, Film School has undergone a few lineup additions and alterations, allowing for an ever growing sound highlighted by their most recent release Hideout. Departing from their earlier work with the inclusion of female vocals, Film School continue to offer generous amounts of dreamlike texture and melody, fully appreciated through their captivating live sets.
